  • CSG Openline Named Official Member of Consumer Electronics Association
    12/5/2007

CSG Openline announced Wednesday that it has been named an official member of the Consumer Electronics Association.

The announcement strengthens the company’s position in the Consumer Electronics industry. For over 10 years, CSG Openline has been the leading outsource provider of channel services for the technology industry and is dedicated to providing revenue-generating opportunities for consumer electronics manufacturers and their retail partners.

“CSG Openline is dedicated to serving the Consumer Electronics industry,” said Joby Pearson, CSG Openline’s Vice President of Sales. “After extensive research, we have found a strong need for our services that will strengthen the relationship manufacturers build with distributors and resellers, who have a significant impact on their sales.”

Comprised of over 2,200 members, the CEA is the most respected and recognized source for information, support and tools in the Consumer Electronics Industry. The CEA hosts a number of events and award programs for the industry, highlighted by the Consumer Electronics Showcase Jan. 7-10 in Las Vegas.

Kris Holley, CSG Openline’s Channel Executive specialist for consumer electronics, will attend the event, where she will discuss the benefits of CSG Openline’s services and ability to generate revenue in areas not being targeted, specifically resellers in the small-medium business space.

“According to several Consumer Electronics manufacturers we’ve spoken to, there is a need to quickly rethink their channel strategy mix to best reach their target customers. Channel analysis is often a new activity for many Consumer Electronics manufacturers,” said Holley. “They lack the channel intelligence data needed to analyze channel activities accurately and the ability to execute strategy. CSG Openline has the experience to help them develop a detailed and robust channel strategy, and execute it to achieve and improve business results and profit margins.”
